Strengthening dialogue and finding new cooperation sectors were the issues discussed by Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip at his meeting with the chair of the Czech Senate, Milan Štěch.
"The visit to Czechia is symbolic, as we’ll mark 25 years of diplomatic relations on June 1. We consider these relations as very good and we thank you for your support in modernizing Moldova," Pavel Filip said.
Milan Štěch reiterated Czechia’s availability to further back up Moldova: "We are glad to share our experience in drafting bills by European standards, so you can eschew the mistakes we made when approaching the EU."
The Prime Minister said about the Transnistrian conflict that it was to be settled exclusively peacefully in the 5+2 format, with Ukraine, Russia and the OSCE as mediators, and the EU and the USA as observers.
