Mayor of Balti, Nicolai Grigorişin, asked for help from Prime Minister Pavel Filip to overcome the garbage crisis. The subject was approached today in Balti during a working visit by the prime minister in the city.
Pavel Filip said he is ready to intervene and hopes that the parties will negotiate to find the best solutions for the city.
Due to a debt of over 2.3 million lei to the waste polygon manager, Balti City Hall does not find the place for trucks to transport the garbage.
Officials say they have no money to pay for this debt, but they do not have enough sources to transport garbage.
PUBLIKA reminds that only after the Pavel Filip's involvement, the garbage crisis was resolved at the end of December last year.
