A bacterium, identified as Ecoli, has caused a huge water shortage problem to the southern Moldovan town of Ceadîr-Lunga.
The authorities say the water in the wells has been infected by the bacterium after the June floods. The germ can cause salmonellosis and dysentery.
The local administration says the local river must be cleaned, but it does not have the fund.
There live 23 thousand people in that town, who have to bring water from nearby springs.
