The efforts of implementing the reforms Moldova committed to when signing the Association Agreement are appreciated by Germany.
Being in Berlin, Parliament President Andrian Candu met with state minister for European Affairs Michael Roth, who encouraged the Moldovan authorities to step up reforms, although it may be painful for people.
"Moldova is a European country," Michael Roth underscored, adding Eastern Europe and Moldova are of special concern for Germany.
He opines Moldova will become strong and united, provided it implements the reforms leading to a socially balanced market economy and a state of law.
The Moldovan official thanked the German minister and assured him of firmness in unfurling the reforms.
Andrian Candu is paying a visit to Germany from March 7 through 9.
He has met a range of top German officials and representatives of the Moldovan Diaspora.
