After criticizing the PDM project Chisinau Area, the PPDA candidate at Bucharest City Hall, Andrei Năstase, has changed its mind and believes that the city still needs a multi-function hall.
He announced at a press conference about how important to develop Moldovan sport.
"We need support for the creation of sports and recreational complexes in our capital. We will create sports grounds, children's playgrounds, sports fields, we talked about a multi-function hall that should be done in Moldova", said the PPDA candidate to the Chisinau City Hall, Andrei Năstase.
Recently, the Democratic Party of Moldova has launched an initiative that will bring Moldova on the map of international sports events. It is the Chisinau Arena project - a complex with a capacity of 3,000 to 5,000 people.
The Arena will be built in Stăuceni on a 10 hectare plot of land. The project will be based on a public-private partnership with international firms and will be ready in one year.
As soon as the idea became public, several representatives of the opposition criticized the initiative, but did not hesitate to include similar projects in their electoral programs.
