Air pollutants as hazards to human health: Moldovan people in rural areas have higher average life expectancy

Emissions of harmful substances to air pose a threat to human health. According to a study by Environment Agency, people living in villages or low-density localities have higher average life expectancy than ones living in cities. The difference could be 4-5 years. 

In 2018, emissions of transport pollutants accounted for 77% of total pollutants, or 205 598.054 tonnes.
