After last night’s severe hail and rain, which left over a thousand houses roofs destroyed, the people are desperate new rains may destroy their houses completely.
At an emergency meeting, prime minister Pavel Filip has stated the affected must be helped as soon as possible.
"Let’s see how we can help the people. I think we don’t have time for red tape. Let’s organize the transportation of asbestos leaves to fix the roofs. So that they don’t lose their houses too," Pavel Filip said.
He was dissatisfied with the way some local authorities managed the situation after the storm.
They will decide to provide the money humanitarian aid, at the Cabinet’s next sitting on June 22.
