There is a rick that this year 50 high schools from the capital may remain without classes. The representative of the Education Directorate in Chisinau hope that the situation will improve in the following days, when there will be the second stage of enrollment of students.
After the first stage, only ten educational institutions formed sufficient classes with over three thousand children enrolled. In Chisinau, there are 80 high schools.
"Some have gone to vocational schools, some to colleges, others are studying in Romania, so their number has become smaller. I think they measured their powers to the requirements of a very strict high school diploma," said the head of the Education Directorate, Tatiana Tverdohleb.
