According to the institution, they have activated 9 rehabilitation points in the country to protect people from the effects of heat.
Five tents were installed in Chisinau and one in the districts of Comrat, Ungheni, Hincesti and Causeni. Rehabilitation points operate during high temperature days between 11.00 and 18.00.
In tents, people can drink water, and if necessary, people can benefit from qualified first aid. The decision to place the tents was taken following the yellow weather warning issued on the territory of the country between 11 and 16 June.
In this context, IGSU urges people to avoid being under direct sunlight at midday. Moreover, rescuers urge people to avoid bathing in unauthorized places and swimming pools not fitted with rescue stations, and firefighters warn of the danger of using open fire.
