10 territorial police sectors are going to be renovated until the end of 2020. This is followed the project "Regional Cooperation for Prevention and Combating Cross-Border Crime Romania-Moldova" under the Joint Operational Program Romania-Moldova 2014-2020 which was applied by General Inspectorate of Police in 2015.
Police sectors from following locations are placed in the renovation plan: Zărneşti village of IP Cahul, Sarata Nouă village of IP Leova, Sărăţeni village of IP Leova, IP Leova, Citireni village of IP Edinet, Bujor village of IP Hânceşti, Hâncăuţi village of IP Edinet, Zăbriceni village of Edineţ, Feteşti village of IP Edinet and Costeşti village IP Rîşcani.
Besides, it is planned to build a block for three directorates of the National Investigation Inspectorate.
The project budget is EUR 2,700,000, of which EUR 2,500,000 is allocated to the renovation and construction and EUR 200,000 for the training of police officers.
